Rev. Gen Heywood
Pastor
In June 2014, Pastor Gen joined us as a partner on the journey of deepening our faith, strengthening our witness to Christ’s compassion, and continuing the practice of justice that leads to peace.
Pastor Gen has a BA degree in German and Music Therapy from Emmanuel College in Boston, and her MDiv from Andover Newton Theological School in Newton, Massachusetts. She lives in Spokane Valley with her two amazing teenagers, two dogs, and a house bunny.
Heidi
Office Manager/Bookkeeper
As the Office Manager and Bookkeeper, Heidi feels honored to support the day-to-day operations of the church. From organizing finances to keeping communication flowing smoothly, she strives to make sure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly.
Heidi lives in Spokane Valley with her wonderful spouse and their two amazing kids. When she's not at the office, you’ll likely find her enjoying the outdoors—whether it’s hiking, boating, running, or simply soaking in the beauty of the Inland Northwest. She's passionate about creating spaces where people feel welcome, informed, and connected.
Wayne Shull
Minister of Music
Wayne has been involved in church music mostly as pianist and organist since middle school age. He came to our congregation more than five years ago and almost immediately began sharing his wonderful gift of music. He is now part of the staff and provides musical accompaniment for our worship experiences as well as leads our choir.
Wayne grew up on a dairy and continues to have the hardworking ethics of a farmer. He is a leader with the SE Spokane County Fair. We are blessed beyond measure to have him with us.
